The month of may has seen a wide range of events taking place in our many locations at Victoria Warehouse. From huge productions in our Cotton Sheds to smaller events over in the Archives we have been very busy! Here’s some of the events we hosted here this month…
Great British Barber Bash
We hosted the Great British Barber Bash in our Archives and Cellars where over 60 Barbers went head-to-head to be crowned winner, along with winning an assortment of prizes up to £1500!
Well-known pub and restaurant chain Greene King held their ‘Pride of Greene King Awards’ in our Bays where they celebrated their employees achievements. They recognised teams who went above and beyond to ensure pubs remained stocks with products during the pandemic, with 170 guests in attendance!
This month we also played host to boxing, with Boxxer and Sky Sports. The event was televised live with 8 boxers competing against one another to win £40,000 cash prize and the coveted path to more opportunities on televised stages. Ellis Zorro took away the prize in the final fight against Ricky Reeves.
Our Cotton Sheds were transformed into an incredible conference location with the help of Make Events for Autotrader UK’s Conference. With over 800 employees coming together for the event.
Car finance company Zuto took over our Cotton Sheds for their employee #IMPACT22 event, where they hosted a huge conference. The conference included a Zen Zone with a spa and massages, a Park area with trees and benches, a Gym area, a Zutobucks shop and a huge stage. Special guests included Jake Humphrey, Damian Hughes, Nick Massey DL and Sir Chris Hoy who hosted an episode of their podcast ‘The High Performance Podcast’ for all of the event attendees to learn from.
In-House Recruitment hosted a 1-day exhibition and conference for In-House Recruiters and their teams to attend seminars, debates and listen to talks from speakers on their successes. They took over our Cotton Shed’s and invited industry experts from Adidas, Arnold Clark, BBC, Co-op, Selfridges, Sainsburies and numerous companies. They included a VR Zone and hosted a post drinks reception for all attendees to chat.
