Event Logistics Supervisor
Now events are back in full force we have an exciting opportunity for an organised, self motivated, individual with strong experience working in events and hospitality specifically conference and events or event production to join us as Event Logistics Supervisor ensuring all our events are organised and set up in line with client expectation to sales brief.
Reporting to the Group General Manager, key focus areas for this role are as follows : –
- Work closely with sales team and event managers, to translate client needs and ensure all spaces set to to required specification on event day (events will include conferences, exhibitions, weddings, social and music events)
- Order equipment, furniture and support staff as required and planning of all timelines for access, build and breakdowns
- Support bars manager as required with building, set up and breakdown of event bars
- To be hands with team on events to ensure delivery of all event set ups and break downs working with event managers and third parties as required to ensure seamless events.
- The role may also require you to support off site events as required in terms of ordering and management of logistics and equipment so travel may be required in line with this.

Wedding and Events Duty Manager
With our events business now busier than ever we have an exciting opportunity for a new position as Weddings and Events Duty Manager – Operations
Reporting to the Group General Manager in this ‘hands on’ role you would be responsible for the operational delivery of our Weddings and Events, ensuring that on the day our seamless customer experience from arrival to departure. We know we have a fantastic venue and this role will be all about you creating an outstanding connection with our clients to ensure their event day is a ‘stand out’ experience
Key focus areas for role.
- Be the key point of contact for clients on the day of the event – being the face of the event and ‘go to’ point for any queries during the event.
- Set up of all event spaces, and required furniture and equipment in line with client requirement.
- Working with external catering suppliers to ensure they have everything in place for delivery of food elements of event.
- Build and set up of all bar and beverage areas /drinks receptions ensuring staffed in line with client requirements and working with staff to supervise bar operation during event to ensure smooth bar service at all times.
- Maintaining strong on the floor presence for assigned events, supervising all elements closely monitoring all service delivery and handling any issues or feedback proactively.
- Booking and management of agency partners and freelance staff on an event by event basis as required in conjunction with event and bars managers.
- Training and coaching of staff on events to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience
- Ensuring effective cash and stock controls in place on events and all processes and procedures adhered to with responsibility for cash up and closure of event space at end of event.
- Responsibility for all H&S, Licensing, Food Safety and risk management for assigned events in line with company and statutory requirements.
