Here at Victoria Warehouse March has been a busy month! We’ve hosted everything from Product Launches to Bat Mitzvahs, Awards to Demonstrations! Here is a recap of all of the incredible events we held…
GHD
We had the GHD Pro team take over our Archives as part of their GHD Underground Tour. They had a host of special guests to talk about all things hair!
As well as live demonstrations, behind-the-scenes looks and tips and tricks for all attendees. The looks created included 6 styles, from Hollywood waves to Sleek updos. Attendees were then to prepare these looks themselves and photograph their models, learning from industry professionals the best tips and tricks for that all important after photo.
Zack Steffen X VOYCENOW
Manchester City Footballer Zack Steffen stopped by Victoria Warehouse to host his new collection One Football in our Archives, featuring hoodies, t-shirts and jackets. The collection was designed by Zack to raise money for the VOYCENOW Charity, which supports black communities with mentoring, Wi-Fi, food etc. The event had a range of entertainment, from DJs to barbers along with speeches about the collection from Zack himself.
Bat Mitzvahs
The Cotton Sheds played host to a grand Bat Mitzvah this month. With a transformation of the space to fit 250 guests having a 3 course meal and entertainment! The event had entertainment including ballerinas, aerialists, fire performers and a live band, Musika. Not only that but there was a huge selection of arcade games for the guests to play, with everything from a Formula 1 Simulator to Dance Mats. Following the meal the guests were all treated to an evening of music and dancing to celebrate the birthday girls special day, which they definitely won’t forget!
Creative Resource
Creative Resource chose to host their Two+Two competition at our Warehouse this month. The event aims to connect young people with peers and mentors, with undergraduate students passionate about marketing coming together to tackle a live brief. The event was judged by many well known creative directors of Marketing, Creative and Technical companies. The winners were awarded the prize of spending the day with CEO and the newest Dragon on Dragon’s Den, Steven Bartlett!
Philippines Embassy London
We also hosted a Tourism event to promote and showcase the culture of the Philippines and all it has to offer. With traditional food and drinks and speeches about what makes the Philippines a great cultural destination.
Greater Manchester Chamber Awards
The Bays saw the Greater Manchester Chamber’s Property and Construction Annual Dinner and Awards which was hosted by presenter of the BBC’s North West Tonight programme Roger Johnson! The black-tie event celebrated the winners of ‘Building of the Year’ 2020 and 2021. Diane Elebert Morgan, Property and Construction Group Manager for the business said “Due to Covid we weren’t able to hold awards dinners in 2020 and 2021, so this event was an extra special occasion for us.”

Art Battle Manchester arrives on the 20th May seeing 10 new fearless artists taking centre stage. With painters, illustrators, tattooists and street artists going head-to-head with only 30 minutes to create a masterpiece. YOU will decide who’s crowned Champion.
