Live events are back at Victoria Warehouse!
As we all know, the in-person event industry was brought to a halt by the pandemic in March 2020 and many live events had been missing from the business schedule for more than 18 months as a result.
Since the announcement of restrictions being lifted and then finally being eased in July 2021, the recovery of the events ecosystem has been happening faster than expected, with event professionals seeing the number of events and event attendances reaching and potentially surpassing pre-pandemic levels in 2019.
Here at Victoria Warehouse, we’ve been extra busy getting back to doing what we love over the last 6 weeks… and here’s a round up of some of the highlights.
Launching the brand new Sportster S, Harley Davidson took over the Bays area of the Victoria Warehouse, showcasing a range of all things Harley Davidson from bygone eras right up until today, before inviting a host of influencers down to give the new Sportster S model a road test.
James Smith “Not another life coach” book tour and party.
Sunday Times #1 best selling author and one of the biggest names in the fitness industry had over 1,600 attendees enthused and highly motivated following his “Not another life coach” book tour event and party held over at the Cotton Sheds… And trust us after a busy few weeks of back to back events at the Victoria Warehouse, it was exactly what some of our team members needed. We. Got. This.
Experiential fine dining experience; Nuage 25 took over our Cotton Sheds event space over the August bank holiday weekend to host a Burning Man festival themed brunch with a spectacular three course dinner, drinks and music for over 600 guests.
After having to postpone the 2020 in person edition, the world’s fitness fundraising movement Battle Cancer finally returned to our Cotton Sheds event space on Saturday 7th August.
As the OG venue where it all started, we were honoured to host their 2021 return which saw over 1,000 competitors battling it out over a range of activities and were thrilled to once be a part of raising funds for such an amazing range of charities.
Red Bull
Red Bull gave us wings a few weeks back, bringing together 150 of their field team who were reunited after over 18 months in the Bays area of Victoria Warehouse. We hosted their sales conference and party which featured a Monster truck DJ get up and much more.
Drag Fest
Drag Fest 2021 took over the Cotton Sheds in August and saw over 4,000 people head to the festival dedicated to the love of Drag and everybody who loves drag. The event featured three stages; the live stage, the panel / lip sync stage and the comedy stage as well the Drag market where attendees could peruse face paint and glitter stations, food and drink stalls, merchandise stalls as well meet and greet stations and much more.
Weddings… Weddings… Weddings!
It’s been weddings galore here at Victoria Warehouse… And as we love a good wedding, we’ve been so happy to be back hosting special day’s here surrounded by the happy couple’s nearest and dearest.
From the glam squad arrival, to the first look at THE DRESS … to the Bridal March.. to the vows… confetti showers, the toasts, the speeches, first dances and more, we’ve loved being part of the special memories created within our four walls.
