JD Presents: The Brit Project... Tickets on sale Friday

ICONS of the indie and rock scene will Come Together in Manchester as part of a ground- breaking music event.

JD Presents: The Brit Project will take over the Victoria Warehouse, with 14 bands playing over two stages. Psychedelic rock legends Primal Scream will headline on September 24.

And Manchester heroes Black Grape have chosen JD Presents: The Brit Project to be their only date in their home city in 2016.

JD Presents: The Brit Project's line up is a fusion of legendary bands and breakthrough artists giving music fans a unique opportunity to see established artists alongside future stars.

Tickets, which go on sale on Friday 17th June at 9am and are expected to sell out fast.

The event is not only a milestone for the music scene in Manchester. For its commercial partner JD, the UK’s largest retailer of sports fashion, it marks another exciting venture into the world of music.

Victoria Warehouse, a converted warehouse standing next to Old Trafford stadium is now one of the city's most iconic venues. The landmark building has already hosted some of the biggest music brands currently around & is now home to The Brit Project.

JD Presents: The Brit Project is the result of the collaboration of Publica Music Events and 9Seven Group. Publica Director, and record label owner, Steven Wood said “The idea of the Brit Project was to bring together legendary bands mixed with the next big thing all under one roof – and to have Primal Scream headlining our first event is huge.

"It's great we've also got Black Grape on board and the fact that this is their only Manchester gig this year makes this a show fans will not want to miss.
